Here's an action study from Kill Bill, I had a lot of fun studying this! I had to get this out of my system... at least for a few days. I only did about 10 seconds of the fight, as this fight goes on much longer, lol.
I've been wanting to do more action storyboard stuff, so I figured I'd better do some studies before I try to come up with my own stuff. Not sure if I'll do another study or attempt my own action stuff next.
Here's a few thoughts that may or may not be of interest to anyone but me 😅:
1) Tarantino used some jump cuts - I think to make the action more jarring? (I didn't include them, it looked too weird)
2) The cuts don't always match, but the action is so fast, I don't think anyone notices.
3) There's also no camera shakes in this scene, but I added a couple to spice it up a bit. (I think it works without camera shakes in live action because of the action and sound FX?)
